Officers are responding to an accident in Guam’s roadways.

Officers are on the scene on Route 27 Harmon Loop Road relative to an auto-moped crash.

According to the Guam Fire Department, the accident occurred southbound, in front of the soccer field.

GFD says there are serious injuries. The operator of the moped — male, age unknown — was conscious when he was transported by medics to Guam Regional Medical City.

Motorists are asked to seek alternative routes as the southbound lanes will be closed.
